Hello to all,
Just came across this message board. My
grandfather came to the U.S. in the 1920's
from Cosenza, Italy I have found most of the
Felice's from that town are related. My Family
has settled in the Detroit metro area.
I used to spend sometime trying to find out
about my family tree and have been to busy.
Any connections or info you may have get in
touch it would be nice to here from Felice's
around the country.

Felices From Cosenza

ALFRED R. FELICE  (View posts) Posted: 25 Nov 2000 8:58AM GMT
hi Jim, I am interested in finding more info on Felices from Cosenza, Italy. I can trace my family name back to James Felice, Married to Palma Lutz. The lived originally in Brooklyn, NY I believe but raised many children and grandchildren in Patchogue, NY.
There is a high concentration of Felices in Patchogue, Long Island , NY. Children of James Felice and Palma Lutz are Alfred Richard, Robert, Vincent, Eleanor, Christina, And Rose. Felices in Patchogue must have migrated from Felices in NYC. I would like to find the parents of James Felice, and the town in Italy they cam from.

Alfred,
My Grandfather came to the states in the early
1900's. First to Philly and than settled in
Pontiac, MI. His name was George Felice. There
is a bunch of Felice's in the Detroit area. The problem
I have run into is that my grandparents have no birth
records so it is hard to trace them. I do know that we do
have relatives in Brooklyn, NY been there a
couple times. Had a Cousin Ernie who parents
were from there. Any more info I find I will
update you.
Happy Holidays,
Jim Felice

Me and my father are both Frank's from Philly. His biological father was Joseph Felice, who at one time had an office in City Hall but that is all I know.

Hey Jim,
My relatives came from Cosenza as well, but I don't know when. They settled in the Detroit area and opened Felice's Market. Maybe we come from the same line of Felice's.

I am a granddaughter of a Joe Felice I would really like to find out more about my natural grandfather. He met my grandmother in a bar in Michigan. They were never married but did have a son. There was a picture a long time ago that showed that Joe Felice had one leg shorter than the other I would really like to know about my grandfather if you know of any Felices that have this charecteristic.
