I am searching for more information regarding ROSA FELIZ. I am a related to the Noriega/Murrieta/Carrillo/Martinez, Preciado, and Gottscahlk family lines, and have ties in San Andreas, Angles Camp, Stockton, Merced, Madera and Sonora - California. ROSA FELIZ, is the wife of the infamous Joaquin Murrieta, os many historians and authors have attempted to tell the story about - and to this day, not one has known the entire story, as some of the story has remained untold, except by family members (refer to Murrieta in this section). I am not interested in anything on Joaquin Murieta, we have enough information and data locked away on that in a private vault in another state by another person - the Public has never seen or heard about, as this was family business. What I do not have is the information on what happened to Rosa ? When I approached a Feliz family member regarding her, I was told not to ask the Feliz family about her, therefore I have honored their request (1989 1994) and have not contacted that line of the family about Rosa Feliz again. The "typical story" is after Joaquin died, she left California (1853) never returned home in Mexico to her father, and none of her relatives ever heard from her again.....I can't buy that one !!! - somnebody knows the truth. What happened to Rosa ?????
