I was looking through old messages posted to this board and found your posting on FEHLKER. I, too, am researching this name. My Fehlker relations are in MO and IL. The oldest I have is Henry Fehlker, b.1834 d. 1906 in Carlyle, IL. Married to Anna Maria Timmer. Children: Herman b.1867; Anna Maria b.1868; Gerhard George b. 1870 (our line); Henry b.1872; Anne b.1874; Marguerite Elizabeth b.1877; Anna Wilhelmina b. 1879; Gertrude b. 1881; Baby boy (Ithink John Bernard) b.1884 and died 2 days later; Maria Theresia b. 1886.

If any of this sounds familiar, let me know. I have corresponded with some Fehlker's who live in MO. They are at the same person (Henry) that I am. It is nice to know there are a few of us looking for this name!
