My grandmother, Anna Duncan was the youngest dau. of Rufus Duncan and Mary were, John, James Archie, Charles, Lonnie, Maude(Nannie), George E. Harry, Anna, William, and Lee. We are probably cousins. My father is still living and is 85. As a child I met George E and his family. My father met William, Lee and knew Maude quite well as she married my father'father. Maude's children lived with my grandparents for several years and were raised with my dad's family by my grandparents. I'd love to here from you. You can contact me directly at helenschmit@verizon.net
your cousin, Helen

My ggrandparents were Mary Fellers( born 1858 instead of 1843)and Rufus Duncan(born 1852). I have a family bible with some information in it, completed by either Rufus or one of his sons. My grandmother was Anna, their youngest daughter. I found a record of Alonzo and Katherine Fellers marriage in Paulding Co. Ohio and an 1870 census for them in Saline Mo. I do know that Alonzo remarried after Katherine's death and had at least one child by his second wife. He died and was burid in Dallas Co., Mo. in 1905 It sounds like we have some relatives in common. I'd like to share information.

My grandmother was youngest dau of Mary Fellers( born 4/15/1858 in Ohio and died Feb.22/22 in Spring Hill Kan. ) and Rufus Duncan(b.8/21/1852 in WV and died 4/10/26 in Spring Hill Kan. As far as I've found been able to ddiscover her parents were Alonzo Fellers and I think Elizabeth Gorman9( born 1836 Oh. died 3/18/1877 in Saline, Missouri), married in Paulding Co. Oh. There is a lot of information on Rufus Duncan's family but I'm stuck on Mary Feller's family. I do know that Alonzo was married a second time and had at least one more child. Would you have and information on Alonzo or Elizabeth Gorman? Alonzo died in Dallas Co. Missouri 12/18/05. He was born 10/1834

There were 3 brothers here in Texas and each one of them named their kids almost the same thing John R Fellers had a son named Washington as well as Henry and Abraham the other brother So you will have to figure out which goes with which brother . I have thousands of pages on this family and I am still looking because of that very reason . I have also found a John Reason Fellers that is kin to the Fellers brothers .It is amazing what you can find if you keep digging up the dead .

Robert is recorded on the 1900 Bastrop Co., TX Census with a different wife. His 3 (or 4) children are recorded. I would like to know what happened to Lucinda. I probably can help others more than they can help me . The Killebrews go back to the Magna Carta and the Fellers go back to the 1700's and 1800's in Texas before Texas was Texas. I have many documents on each family and have been researching for over 30 years and love meeting new cousins . Please let me know if I can help you . Lanelle

Minnie Maria (pronounced Mariah) Fellers married John H. Barker in Oakland, Maryland, he being an engineer on the railroad. According to Federal Census info, they were both born in West Virginia. After their marriage, they lived in or near Frederick and Brunswick, Maryland and raised two daughters, Ada & Agnes.

John & Minnie, Ada & her husband George T. Kirk, Agnes & her husband Roger G. Harley, are all buried in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Looking for *any* info on the Fellers family, especially Minnie's parents & siblings. I think they might have been from VanClevesville (or Vanclevesville/Van Clevesville), Maryland a small community near Martinsburg, West Virginia. A Civil War Union veteran by the name of B.H. Fellers is mentioned in an older Berkeley County History book as being born in "VanClevesville".

Thanks.

Oh, how exciting to get a reply so quickly - these relatives are very much an enigma to me.
#11 could be "my" Minnie, I don't have her birth-date close at hand though. I think her husband, John Barker, was born in 1870 (according to a Federal Census - 1910, I believe?). I just saw the headstone for their grave last week, but can't remember the dates. My mother & I visited the cemetery in Martinsburg - she might know the birthdate & any siblings'/parents' names.
This is all my dad's side of the family, I don't know much about them at all. His side of the family weren't storytellers and didn't talk much about relatives or ancestry.
Do you have any possible sources for that list of 11 Fellers children?

I know the Martinsburg area is an area my Mother always spoke about. Her father, Robert Edward Fellers [b.1892], was born in that area to John D. Fellers [b. 1854] & Katie ? [b. 1872 ?]. He married Iona Marie Morse.
My Grandfather, Robert E. Fellers, was high up in the Post Office and there is a lot of stuff online regarding him; however, I'm having a hard time finding much info on the family.
I was wondering if you were at all familiar with the names above.
I believe that John D.& Katie Fellers had 2 other children: Edith & Harry.
I'm not sure, but John D. Fellers' parents may have been: John F. Fellers & Ann ?.
Any help I can get will be appreciated.

Paulette,
Eliza Fellers and John Riley Perkins are my maternal grandparents. Their daughter, Lily Lucille, is my mother. I am her third child. I have been trying to find information on grandma for some time. I have an extensive background on grandpa if you would like for me to mail you a copy. Neil Dalton, our cousin from Camp Wood, TX, supplied me with a lot of information on the Perkins side of the family. Grandma on the other hand, has been very elusive. Please feel free to contact me at cyndi_slaughter@yahoo.com
Any information you could supply on Grandma would be forever appreciated. Please get back with me.
