If you are still interested, I have some information. My grandfather Bartolo Martini and my Grandmother Rosa Rossi, both of Revo left in the 1890's to go to Pennsylvania. The Martini family has been traced to 1493 in Revo and the Rossi family to the 1600's. Our Martini supername is Lau and the Rossi name is either Perla or Sheck. There was so much intermarriage that there are other supernames somewhere. All of the listed names appear in my family. Bertoldi came in as a husband of Maria Martini, my grandfather's sister. My mother was Josephine Fellin, dau of Joseph, son of Stephen Fellin and Emma Fellin (two seperate Fellin lines, Fellin is like the name Smith in Revo). Stephen & Emma were both from Revo. My grandfather's parents were BOTH Fellins, and both born in Revo. Our branch of the Fellins live near Hazleton Penna (coal miners, my grandfather's brother David Fellin was the one rescued in 1963 after being trapped underground for two weeks). I know my grandfather had Fellin relatives in Totonto but am not sure exactky who.

I am the Grandson of Samuel Fellin from Ouray ,hence my name. There were actually four Fellin brothers Samuel, Oliver( AKA Bole) , Angelo and Alex. Alex was the youngest and cam over later with his mother. My father Jack still goes back to Ouray regularly/Sam

Am searching for info on Edriga (Edwige) Bersacola. She arrived in USA Feb. 1901 with her brother Battista. Ellis Island records show her going to Vineland NJ. Passage was paid by her brother Silvano (Silvino). Have info on Silvino and Battista but nothing on Edriga. Family came from San Pietro in Cariano near Verona, Italy.

I have a Domenica nee Fellin married to Fiorello Zadra. Domenica had siblings: Marie, Victor , Catherine. Not much help, I'm afraid, but who knows! Marie married Andrew Enama. Catherine married a Ferarri. This is the extent of my Zadra connection.

Josephine Fellin

I have read with great interest the posts regarding the Fellin ancestry. My great aunt had a dear friend, Josephine Fellin, who was born in Kennemer, WY in the early 1900's to parents who immigrated from Amblar, Italy. Her mother died a few days after she was born. When she was about 4 years old, her father sent her back to live with her grandparents in Italy near the Val di Non, San Remo, and Amblar. She remained there until she was in her mid-20s, when she rejoined her father and stepmother in the states. Josie (as we called her) worked as a nurse's aide in the labor and delivery department in hospitals in Arkansas City, Kansas, which is where she became friends with my aunt, a nurse. Josie never married, and eventually spent her later years in the Wichita Kansas area and died several years ago at around 92 years of age. She had lived with my great aunt for several years before her death.

My husband and I spent three weeks in Italy in 1998. We travelled to Bolzano, and because of the predominance of German spoken in that part of the country, we were unsuccessful in our attempts to travel to Amblar to see if we could locate some of Josie's ancestors. My great aunt has many family photographs of Josie with notes on who is in the photographs. Many of these people were from Amblar, others were Fellin relatives that had immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1800s.

Josie's passport states her given name was Giusseppina Fellin. I believe her father went by Frank when he immigrated the the U.S. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe he died in the mid 1950s in Arkansas City, Kansas.

If anyone has any information on this group of Fellin's, my great aunt might be able to shed some light on this portion of the family tree.

I'm not sure if they are part of the family. I know Facenelli was a name my mother and father alway talked about. My family is from the Hazleton area of Pennsylvania, a town called Beaver Meadows. There was a Theresa Facenelli. I also know there was Aunt Mary Fellin in Colorado - Byers - I believe. She was an Aunt by marriage and I'm not sure what my uncle's name was. It amy have been John.
If I find any more info. I would be interested in the pictures.

My Serifina Facinelli Fellin married Sam and had children Samuel, Oliver, Angelo and a daughter that I don't have her name. They lived in Ouray, Co. I have pictures of Serifina. Her son Samuel had daughter's Aileen and Viola Marie. Let me know if they are your's.

I am almost sure this is the same Serafina Facinelli Fellin that I have. I have been doing research on the Facinelli line and I have just recently gotten pictures of Serafina that my grandmother had of her great-aunt Serafina in Colorado. I can scan them to you if you like. We live in Alabama on the coast where my great grandmother Maria settled. She would be a sister to your Serafina. I can send you my information if you like, along with the pictures.

I am looking for info on Serafina Facinelli Fellin that was my ggreatgrandmother's sister. She lived in Colorado and had sister's Germania, Maria Domenica, Angelina and brother's Oliver, Albert, and maybe Joe. I have just gotten pictures of Serafina and can scan them if you think you maybe related. I have infomation on the Facinelli line that goes back to around 1825 and possibably futher.
