I am sorry but I do not think my Fellner is the same as yours. In the Fellner family that emigrated from Wassersuppen, Bohemia in Czech....there was no Stewart Fellner. That family had the following siblings = Katherine, Andrew, Joseph, Barbara, Frank, Theresia and Margaret. There were more siblings but they did not each adulthood and did not emigrate to America. I can trace this family for several more generations in Wassersuppen so I do not think we are related....unless it might be farther back in time.
Good luck in your research.I have a family portrait of all the family members who emigrated to America = Barbara and Margaret married and moved to Vienna. The rest all emigrated, including George and Marie Mack Fellner. If you wish, email me at turton@abac.com and I can send you the picture.
Deanna

Fellner brother that disappeared in 1889

I'm seeking help in finding great-grandfathers brother. The story is this my Great-grandfather, John B. Fellner arrived in this country in 1889 along with his brother we assume through NY. The story goes when they left the ship they took two different paths. My great-grandfather settled in Goshen NY but we never knew what happened to my great-granduncle. Does anyone have a similar story? Maybe we can put the family back together?

My G-Grandfather Johann Fellner came over to the US from Austria-Hungary with wife Barbara in 1909 on the ship Pennsylvania. Once here he changed his last name to Fellnor, then remarried (for reasons unknown) to my G-Grandmother Katarina Dilk who came over to the US in 1907 on ship Slavonia also from Austria Hungary. Could he be related??
Johann was born in 1886 and died 1934.
Buried as John Fellnor in Trenton, NJ(Greenwood Cemetary) .
