If this is your father, Thomas Henry was born on the 19th of February 1918 and died in 1993,
(Salford District Entry Number 225 - Reg. No. TC40), were his sister's born before or after him?

For instance, if they were born before him you would be looking at a marriage for Richard at the beginning of the 1900's. The marriage certificate would give you Richard's age, his father's name together with his wife's name and her father's name. You would then have a better idea of his year of birth.

It may also help if you were to also put your message on the location board i.e. Lancashire, as well as under the name on this site, as you may get some kind soul who could look-up the information for you.
