So glad I found you. My mother in Law was neighbors with Kitty and Ed Fels in Albuquerque. After Kitty's death her son was unable for whatever reason to take all of the photos, so my mother in law has them as family history is important to her. There are pictures of when Ed was young with his brothers, also lots of military pictures and some newspaper articles. She wanted to find someone in the family to give them to.

Ed Fels was in the military in WWII and Vietnam, as well as Korea. Are there any family members out there interested in photos? Included are photos of parents, siblings, etc.

Jacob Fels married Catherine Scanlan on 12 Apr 1825 in St Michael´s Church in Loretto. Cambria County, PA. Catherine died 30 Jan 1894.
Any further information on the couple would be greatly apprecfiated.

According to her death certificate, my gr-grandmother Mary FELS was born in 1874 in Ennsen, Rhine, Germany. Her father's name was Michael. On 1 Aug 1893 she married Henry Robert UEBELHOER (born 1870 in Heinsheim, Mosbach, Baden) in Chicago, IL. She died in Milwaukee, WI in 1932.

Herberts Father was Herman Carl Fels born 9 mar 1866 in Germany died 25 dec 1954 in California

Hermans Father was Wilhelm Fels born ABT 1842 in Germany died 19 mar 1886 in Minnesota

Herberts Mother was Augusta Amelia Spriberg born 4 sep 1839 in Germany died ABT 1921 in Minneapolis.

I have a few pictures of a man and his wife.The man is A.C. Fels I believe his name is Arthur. They lived in Richmond Hills Long Island in about 1948. Anyone researching this line and that wants the pictures plese let me know.

I just found out recently that my gg grandmother was Wilhelmine Fels and her family lived in Brown County. She married Johann Friedrick Wilhelm Buchholz. I have come across where two Fels brothers and a sister married 3 sibling Nohr's. Would you be willing to share information?

I am so gald to hear from someone on the Fel side of my family. Edward Thomas Fel's who married Catherine Heraty His Mother and father were Constantine Fel's and Mary Ann (Higgins) Fels The Higgins side is my side of the family. See all i know is that my father ,father name was Joseph Fels, and mother name was Mary Ennix..... See my Dad told me along time ago..... That hes mom died after he was born... So he's father took cair of him untill he was 8yrs old....Then my grandfather but my dad in St. John orphanage in PA.he was told that he's father then move to NY.. Interesting! My grandfather lived in Berwyn, a suburb of the Windy City. A story is told that his father was mayor of Peoria, and the local bar owner. There was an Uncle Joe mentioned from time to time. A long shot, but who knows?

I don't think there is a connection. My gr grandfather, Joseph Fels(Feltz) married Mary Walters and had six children. Joseph had a brother, Florent, who married in his 50's and never had children.
