Felsing's in Europe

What a strange thing when one thinks that ones surname is relatively unique, and suddenly there are literally hundreds of potential 'family' in the USA.
My father, Hasso Conrad Raoul Felsing was born in Berlin in 1922, to Willibald and Josephine Felsing. The greatest claim to fame from those years was that Josephine's sister was Marlene Dietrich's mother - making Marlene a cousin to us all...!! I remember talking to her on the phone as a child every Xmas eve (in her Paris flat) - I didn't really know who she was then.
My father married Shirley Sondern (from Virginia), and eventually set up home in Tenerife, Canary Islands, where our family is still based.
It would be fascinating to find out if there is any link into the USA Felsing's, but I do not really know where to start..!
So, I am posting the thread, and, who knows, maybe the thread will extend....

Alberta Mabel LEFEVER is a 2 X great granddaughter of Alexander NEGLEY.

I'm looking for more information about my gggrandmother Jennie Ruth Felsing. I know that she was born 8/23/1884 and died 3/16/1949 in Carthage, SD. She was married to Charlie John Swinderman or it might be John Charles Swinderman. My grandmother knew him as Charlie. I also know that they had a daughter named Irene Myrthle (my ggrandmother). Would any have any information that might be of some help?

Am searching for info on my FELSING lineage. My 3rd Granduncle Mathias OBERT married 1) Maria Elisabetha FELSING 3-31-1834 in St. Louis, MO. She died quickly after and then Mathias married 2) Catharine FELSING 1-1-1835 in St. Louis. I have no info on these two sisters and their familiy. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi, I have been reading through the felsing website, I have always been told that we were the only family with this name. but obviously not! After my grandad and his family moved from some part of Germany to England (Brighton) they changed their name to Felsing, but I don't know what from.
My grandad was Otto Wilhelm Felsing.
