I noticed that several people are quoting from the Felt Genealogy.
I haven't seen the book and understand it is very good. However,
I feel there is a missing generation in it. Moses Felt was the
grandfather not father of Aaron Felt. Moses was born about 1651.
Aaron was born in 1715. That would make over 70 years old---possible
but not probable for fatherhood. However, Moses had only one known
wife---Hannah Maine. she would have been in her 60s or 70s and that's
not possible, except in the case of miricle or modern day science---but
not in 1717! There is no evidence that Moses married a second time. I
don't have any hard proof, but some more resent secondary source list Joshua
son of Moses as Aaron's faher and Anne Walcott as his mother. Anne
was the half-sister of Mary Walcott, one of the acccursing girls in the
Salem witch trials.
