Nice to hear from you. I think you are correct about the spelling problems of your 3X great grandfather's name. That was most likely where Jay Felt got his middle name.

Has anyone ever noticed how many times the name Horace was used in the Felt family? My father was not particularly pleased with his name and went by the nickname of "Sonny" until he was 50 years old, then he answered to Horace.
