I'm searching for information on Wm. A. Felts, b. abt 1823 in GA, who married Margaret/Martha Taylor 12-22-1846 in Jones County, GA.

The 1850 Jones County, GA census lists:
Wm. A. Felts age 26, hatter, value $50;
Margaret W. age 25;
Martha A. age 3.

The 1860 Jones County, GA census shows:
Margaret Felts age 35, b. in GA;
Martha age 12, b. in GA;
Greenberry age 9, b. in GA;
Wm. age 7, b. in GA;
John age 4, b. in GA.

Where was Wm. A. at the time of the 1860 census? Were they separated?

The 1880 Pike County, GA census lists Margaret (mother) in household of son Wm. C. and family. It also lists a brother of Wm. C. as Walter, age 15, b. in GA, making his d/o/b abt 1865, so apparently Wm. A. was still living in abt 1864-65.

Wm. C. moved in AR around 1894-1897, and died in Nevada County, AR in 1923.

Who is the Wm. Felts whose will was probated 5-6-1861? It lists John S. Felts (son of Wm. & Margaret);
Mary (wife of Joseph Simpson);
Martha (wife of Simeon Felts);
Executor - Martha Felts.
Is this father of Wm. A?
