Wish you had put a place name as I may be bothering you for nothing. My ggggrandmother was Susanna Ferguson, born in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, Scotland, circa 1760. Her parents were Duncan Ferguson Katharin McLachlan. There was a Duncan born in Rothesay in November, 1734, whose parents were Dugald Ferguson Mary Campbell but I have not yet been able to confirm their connection. My Susanna married Malcolm McCallum in Kilmodan, Argyll, Scotland in 1786. She had her first 5 children there, but returned to Rothesay, where a further 2 children were born.
