Marcia, I have a listing of the scotsmen from the ship Unity & where the first 45 men where placed. Around 30 of them were sent to the Lyne Iron Works, 15 men were sent to a sawmill & or sawmills in Kittery, Maine. Your Daniel Ferguson was one of the fifteen men. My main line is Carmichael, but my 3rd. great grandmother was a Ferguson, daughter of Andrew Ferguson, grand daughter of Thomas B. Ferguson.
