SORRY! It's late and I posted one line that was wrong. Ann Stubbleson Fargeson did NOT drown in the river. Her daughter-in-law Ann Brown Fargeson did. The inquisition to determine that she accidentally drowned was in Orange County, VA, on January 14th, 1735, and 2 of her brothers were witnesses. Her mother-in-law (Ann Stubbleson Fargeson) died the same year, 1735, and her will was proved on December 15th in Essex County, VA.
