Looking for the parents of John Ferguson born about 1856 in New York. His middle initial may have been P. He is on the 1870 census in Calhoun County, Michigan living with a Noble and Elizabeth Blossom, both born in New York. I don't believe Elizabeth is his mother, since she had been married to a James Gifford before she married Noble, and there were no children listed with her on the 1860 census.
