Looking for any information on this family. Sarah Gardella, born in Genoa area, entered US via Ellis Island, married Ferrera or Ferrara or Farrere (was an ice man in NY and passed in the late 1920s), had one son, born mid-1920s in NY.

Their children Maria, Nazzarino, Rocco, Giacomo, Vittoria all born Vicalvi. Palmetta, born Canada. This family immigrated to canada 1911-1913, then in 1917 settled in Seattle areal

Ferrera Corelone, Italy to New Orleans, LA

I am looking for information on my great-great-great grandparents Francesco Ferrera/Ferrara (born around 1831, in Corleone) and Antionette Zaccari (born around 1842, in Corleone). They immigrated to New Orleans, LA around 1888/1889. They had at least four children: Frank Ferrera, Venzinsa Ferrera, Laura Ferrera, and Anthony Ferrera.

Venzinsa Ferrera (born 25 January 1881) married Arcangelo Catalinotto. They had eight children: Marcel Catalinotto, Luciano Catalinotto, Josephine Catalinotto, and Brazil Catalinotto Panepinto.

Laura Ferrera ( born 19 or 20 May 1888 or 1889) married Giuseppe Cuccia. They had five children: Rose Lucy Cuccia Relle, Francis Cuccia, Antionette "Lena" Cuccia Paternostra, and Mary Cuccia Nuccio.

Any help would be appreciated.

No, I'm still looking. We served together at Ft. Bragg, NC in the early 60s and unfortunately lost track of each other after that. A few years back, I spoke with a retired nun at the Catholic orphanage in Fall River, and she thought she remembered the family. She told me she would do some research and asked me to call back a couple of weeks later. When I did call back, I learned she had died. No one else has responded to my listing 4 years ago, so I would be glad to hear any leads that you might have.

Hi, my name is Sarah Ferrera. My father died when I was 2 years old. All I know about him was that he was from Tampa, Fl. He lived in Ibor city. I think he had two sisters, but I only know the name of one, Consuelo. His mother's name was Sarah. He died in a prison in Tampa I think in the year 1949. Now I live in Tampa.
