We Ferris' from New Zealand go back to Ireland or thereabouts. I am tracing our family tree and as there are not a lot of our elders left to answer queries I am having to use the 'net. Any help would be appreciated.
George was sent to Australia (as a convict). He was later pardoned when returning to England. He married ? and two of his sons (? and my great grandfather Charles William Ferris) went to Australia and then New Zealand. From Charles W I can manage - prior to him though I have no idea.
