PLATTSBURGH — Madeline F. Fesette, 95, formerly of Court Street, died May 3, 2001, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home.

She was born in Chazy on July 3, 1905, the daughter of Clevice and Lottie (Trombly) Rock.

She attended Chazy Central Rural School and was a lifelong resident of Clinton County.

Mrs. Fesette married Nicholas Fesette on May 7, 1923, in St. Peter's Church. Mr. Fesette died Dec. 4, 1984.

She was a former parishioner of St. John's Church.

Madeline was a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed antique glass and dishes and was a great collector.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clevice and Judy Fesette of Plattsburgh; three grandsons, Dan and Carrie Fesette of Chazy, Neil and Connie Fesette of Plattsburgh and Gregg and Ellen Fesette of Plattsburgh; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Reagan and Rylee Fesette; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Claire and Lauren Locke; three nieces, Madelyn Parker, Barbara Kemp and Sandy Greer; and a sister-in-law, Elisabeth M. Rock.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Roderick, Roswell and Victor Rock; and one sister, Ethel Milne Barber.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Cumberland Head. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
