MRS. MARY A. FESSLER DIES; AGE 88 YEARS
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary A Fessler, who passed away at the family residence in Mosalem township, Sunday evening at 9 o'clock will be held in St. Mary's church Wednesday morning at 10:?0 o'clock. Internment will be made in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Fessler was born in Germany, November 18, eighty-eight years ago and came to this country settling in Mosalem township in 1849. She is survived by six sons, Martin and Andrew, both of Mitchell, S.D., John of Mosalem township, Raymond of this city, Fred of Sioux Falls, S.D., August of La Crosse, Wis., and daughter, Mrs. Caroline O'Loughlin of Sioux Falls.

Additional info: There is an error in the obituary regarding the name of one of her sons. Martin should really be Merenes of Mitchell S.D.
Mary Ann Frick Fessler is my gg grandmother. She was the daughter of Leon(?) and Mary Ann Frick. In around 1851 she was married to Raymond Fessler in the Dubuque Iowa area.
I am researching the Fessler and Frick families and would like to share info with other researchers.
