I would love to read a copy of the letter that you have. I have "sketchy" info on the Peter Feurt/Francis Feurt line but I would be willing to trade. I follow the Christopher Fort line. I have been trying to either prove or disprove a relationship between these two families.
Christopher Fort is in MD, Deer Creek Upper Hundred with a Peter Fort (In Lower Hundred)
Chrs. is in Washinton Co PA with a Francis Feurt
Chrs. is just across river from Scioto Co where Francis and Peter live
A Fredrick Fort is near by, killed in the KY militia. A Peter Fort is in early KY at same time in Fayette Co.
A Charles Stevens Fort signs a doc for Peter Fort. There is none in our family. No other doc found for him.
One of Christopher's sons George W. married in Scioto Co.
I would also like to see if the Family "histories" are the same
