Hermann Emil Feustel is my great grandfather (married Johanne Martha Schiller, date unknown). He was born 16SEP between 1857 to 1862 and appears to have lived in/near Reinsdorf, Germany his entire life.
In 1901, per his son's birth certificate, he was an "obersteiger" in Reinsdorf. He died in March 1942 and is buried in Reinsdorf with his wife (28APR1866 to 14JUL1936) and three of his children: Martha (2SEP1891-MAR(?)1960); Hermann Walther (10JUL1903-17AUG1924); and Hermann Rudolf (4APR1899-23MAR1950).

Their son, Hermann Bruno Feustel, is my grandfather and arrived in New York via the Bremen in JUL1929 (only person to move to USA, the rest stayed in Germany). Hermann Bruno eventually moved to Oregon where he lived out his life.

Hermann Emil & Johanne had other children: Else; Frieda and Kurt and maybe others. Else married to Hans(?) Kammler and had a daughter Elizabeth (born circa 1920) and grandchildren Batina (born about 1963) and Christian (born about 1960) (last name unknown).

I am in search of more information on this side of my family, ties and residences including parents of Hermann Emil and Johanne Martha Schiller if anyone can assist.

Sadly, my grandfather left little information about his family in writing and the search is proving quite difficult at this time, though it appears that Reinsdorf is the place to start if anyone can help, I would appreciate it so very much!!
