I am searching for the parents of William R. Fewins born approximately 1862 in Illinois, died 1946 Allen Co. Kansas. He married Florence Louise Griffin (b. 1871 New York) in Allen Co. Kansas 2/9/1888. Their son Floyd A. Fewins was my great-grandfather. I have been trying to determine if he belongs to the Fewins family that lived in the Des Moines area during this time. The area of Illinois his descendants are from is adjacent to the Des Moines area, although, I have been unable to locate his exact place of birth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
