There are a lot of people researching the Fickes line. I am one of them. However, I can't seem to find much on my line, which is:
Samuel Fickes, b. about 1790 in PA. Married Ester ( Catherine Ester) Owen, b. 1804-1810 in PA. Probably m. in PA. I can't find a marriage date. Anyway, they moved to Ohio. Their children, Samuel, b 1834, James, b. 1840, Martha, b. 4 March 1845 Shelby, Richland Co., Ohio, Hiantha, b. 1847 and Mahala b. 1849, all in Ohio. In 1850, they lived in Adams Twp., Coshocton Co., Ohio. I believe Samuel came from Cumberland Co. PA. Does anyone have information on this branch of the Fickes family? Thank you.
