I haven't looked at the messages in several months, so I'm sorry I have not replied sooner. I see thay have a box checked now, so that a person is notified when someone replies to their message.

Last summer I spent one day at the York County Historical Society in York PA. That is where saw the book on Susan Adam Fickas. I only copied the first few pages because I am a descendant of Valentine and Elizabeth, not Yost Fickes. I would love to know the connection, if any, between Yost and Valentine Fickes.

My line goes like this:

John Fickes Rebecca Weisel
Harrison (Harry) Fickes Mary Ann Dibert
Where do you come in?
I don't think there are too many people researching Fickes.
