I am researching the family of William Fields born in NY in 1830 (parents born in Ireland) and married to Sara Backner born 1828 in Ireland. Their daughter, Mary Fields, was born 1855 in NY. The family later moved to Blue Earth, MN where Mary married Henry Lynch. Mary and Henry were my great-grandparents. I have quite a bit of information on the Lynch line - except where they are from in Ireland. I have far less information on the Fields - including where they were born in Ireland.
