Surnames: Fife, Gilmour
A couple of cousins and I are working on our Fife-Gilmour genealogy and are trying to find any information on Anna M. Fife born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in 1838 or 1840, who came to the U.S. in 1847/48. She married John Gilmour in 1865/66 in New York City. He was born in Londonderry too in 1842 or 1846 and came to the U.S. in 1861 or 1863. Anna and John had seven children: Emily Jane b. 1867, Wesley G. b. 1869, Sarah b. 1870, Alfred C. b. 1872, Benjamin Roberts b. 1873, Augusta b. 1878, and James Garfield b. 1880. We're especially interested in information on Anna's parents (E. Fife and Anna Lloyd) and John's parents (possibly Alexander Gilmour and Jane Glenn) but wouldn't mind having additional information on their descendants as well.
