Malchi File (1792-1879)Buried in the Mohawk Cem., Brantford, Ont. married, Eloped in 1819 to Elizabeth Weir(spelled Wyer on Marriage cert.) born 1792 & died 1852) Malchi was apparently remarried after Elizabeths' death to Ester Hawley but I'm only interested in their children, Augustus File(1821-Mar.1878)she was not married though., Amelia File (1822-?)no more info Eliza Marie File(1827-?)no more info and then Malchis' son Robert File (1826-Oct.1876)married on Jan.20,1858 to Rhonda Fonger(1839-July 1,1904)buried at Brantford, they had 8 children, David File married Ida Smithson,4 kids;,Mary File who married William Shaw, 4 kids;, Janie/or Carrie (finding her under both names in things)A. File married Feb. 24, 1886 to John Whiting Derereux,6 kids;, Herb File married Sopia King,3 kids;, Maggie File married Edward Waters,2 kids;, Hester File married Hartnol Cole,1 kid;, Arthur File married Minnie Rush,4 kids for sure but maybe 6 though;, Annie File married Wesley Timmins,3 kids;, Robert File jr. (born and died at 3yrs.)ARTHUR FILE & SISTER, ANNIE FILE moved to British Columbia and were married there in BC and had their families. I have quite a bit of dates for these families but it is the newer generation of grandchildren with dates I need.
