Denies Murder of Family
Missouri Man charged with Wholesale crime blames brother.
Albert Filley, who is in jail charged with killing his wife, daughter and brother and fatally injuring his sister-in-law, at the family home in Cameron, Mo. has made a statement in which he charges his brother, Henry Filley, and the latter's wife with killing Mrs. Albert Filley and her daughter. The prisoner said that while he was absemt from the house for a half-hour his brother and sister-in-law killed his wife and daughter. When he entered the house, he said, his brother attacked him with a club, and he shot his brother in self-defense. Filley give no evidence of insanity. The officers do not believe his story.
