We are searching for information on Alexander Henry Finlay, born c1770.
We found a reference to him via The British Library, namely The East India Office.
Would you be kind enough to look up Alexander Henry Finlay, late of East India Company Service.
There is a reference to a monumental inscription - St. Mark's, Kennington, London.
Henry's wife was Elizabeth and they had a son Henry Alexander Finlay, born 17-12-1802, Malta.
Henry had a son - Arthur Alexander Finlay, born 1833, Middlesex, London (1854 arrived in Australia aged 21).
We are also searching for Arthur's birth certificate.
Any information would be a great help.
