My GREAT GRANDFATHER was a DANIEL FINN, born around 1860 in a street called BACKGLEN in KINSALE CORK.He married a CATHERINE ROCHE around 1890 and they had a daughter MARY ELLEN FINN. That child was sent to NEWPORT SOUTH WALES while she was young to live with relatives. Not sure why. Might have to travel to Kinsale to figure it out. You discovered anything about your family?
