Classification: Query
Surnames: Finney, Burton
I am trying to trace Finneys who were hawkers and travellers within the UK from the 1800's onwards.
Family names include Guilderoy, Angelina, Clara and Ambrose Finney as well as the more common names of John, Sarah, William and Henry.
Being travellers they were not usually recorded in census returns (I have found a number, all of whom are part of the family I'm tracing) but they did attend church for baptism, marriage and burials. Their main circuit consisted of Market Drayton, Stoke across to mid and North Wales and across to Manchester
Any leads to parish records or BMD's would be great as it does not appear that anyone else is researching these names at this time.
