I am looking for info on James W. Finnie, Birth: March 2,1861 in Tennessee, or Alabama , Death: Jan 9, 1925 in Tecumseh, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma. He met his wife Mary Beckham in Olivehill Tenn.. They migrated to Norman Oklahoma .. Rumor has it.. The Finnie family got into a big fight and went their own ways, some went to Oklahoma the others went to Oregon.. One of the Finnie's might have been a Doctor.. we have heard the original spelling was Finney, but got changed along the way.. Also Lazy Eye ( dead eye) being born with no soft spots runs in our line of Finnie's. Somebody told my dad the White family is some how related to us. We have no idea who his parents or siblings were or where his parent were from. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it..
