For reasons which ancestry have not been able to explain or rectify, all the excellent replies you have sent me were wiped within minutes of my using the site last night. In addition my email address, which I had removed thanks to your messages - was restored! I have removed my email address yet again. If any of you are able to resend any of your posts, I would be very greatful. Even your ancestry names would be a great help so I can keep you posted of any developments.

I am sorry you are having such difficulties. I have checked the Recycle Bin which is where all deleted messages should be found and cannot find any of the lost messages you mentioned. I am unable to help at this point since there is nothing showing up for me to recover. You might email Rootsweb/Ancestry Staff at messageboards@Rootsweb.com, explaining the problem you have described in your objection message. I will leave the objection in the queue so Staff may take a look and possibly find something that is not available to me.
I wish I could have been more help but, when the missing messages do not show up in the recycle bin I am helpless to do anything.
