Do you know if there are published or orignial sources of information available for the births of your David's siblings? (I have names, but not dates of birth for most.)
Your David Firestone b. 23 Dec 1809 is aka David-4 Roller Firestone, the son of John F.-3 Firestone (Mathias-2, Nicholas-2) and his wife Rachel Roller (sometimes as Rachel Rowler).
David's father, John F.-3 Firestone is the brother of George-3 Firestone m. Rebecca Carle.
John F.-3 Firestone b. Johannes F. Firestone 16 May 1782, bp. 25 Dec 1782 at Frederick Town Evangelical Lutheran Church; George W-3 Firestone b. 22 April 1784. [1]
David Roller Firestone is, thus, not the son but the grandson of Mathias-2 Firestone. He was the nephew of George W. Firestone at Wayne Co., OH.
Daivd Roller Firestone dec'd Sept 25, 1851, was married to Elizabeth Rice.
"David R. died at an early age (42). The Western Reserved Historical Society, Cleveland, Ohio tells of his death and how his devoted wife Elizabeth cared for the children and lived to see them all arrived at the years of majority, marry, and comfortably located on farms of their own." [2]
