Revae, George-3 (Mathias-2, Nicholas-1) and Rebecca (Carle) Firestone did have a dau. Eleanor. I am a descendant of George's sister Mary; who married Rebecca's older brother Dirck/Derrick, aka Richard L. Carle.

What can you tell me about your Elenor/Eleanor? Perhaps I can help to confirm your link.

George "went to Wayne County, OH on a prospecting tour in 1812. Enter SW quarter of section 33, East Union Twp, Wayne County. Returned with Family on July 6, 1813. He and wife Rebecca, deed, Stark Co., OH." (Geo. Ely Russell)

The names of George and Rebecca (Carle) Firestone's children were called out in George E. Russell, "Firestone Family of Frederick Co., Maryland." Western Maryland Genealogy (Vol 9). 1993. From Russell and other sources, the ten known children of George and Rebecca (Carle) Firestone are:

.....Mary Ann Firestone
.....Judy Ann Firestone
.....Elizabeth Firestone
.....John C. Firestone
.....Harriet Firestone
.....Daniel Firestone
.....Eleanor/Elenor Firestone
.....Rebecca Firestone
.....George L. Firestone
.....Solomon B. Firestone

George-3 died 22 Apr 1851; Rebecca dec'd in 1869 (probably Nov 21 or Nov 24). Records of their burial can be found in the Old Presbyterian Cemetery Records of East Union Twp. A short biographical sketch about George can be found in the History of Wayne Co., OH (1878).

I have files on George-3 and his family; and on Rebecca's ancestry as well. Below is the 1850 Census record of George and Rebecca. --GeneJ

Year: 1850; Census Place: East Union, Wayne, Ohio; Roll: M432_739; Page: 209; Image: 415.
30 July 1850
Dwelling 151; Family 151
.....[Firestone], Georg, ae 66, M, occ: farmer, RE 15000, b. MD
..... " Rebecca, ae 64, F, b. PA
..... " George, ae 19, M, b. OH
..... " Solomon, ae 17, M, b. OH
.....Perky, George F., ae 10, M, b. OH, attended school
..... " Irene, ae 8, F, b. OH, attended school
..... " Sarah, ae 6, F, b. OH, attended school

Note: George and Rebecca's dau. Judy Ann Firestone m. (Dr.) John F. Perkey/Perky, son of Sarah-3 (Mathias-2; Nicholas-1) Firestone m. Daniel Perkey/Perky. Judy Ann (Firestone) Perkey/Perky dec'd 1850, ---the Irene and Sarah Perkey living with George and Rebecca at 1850 were Judy Ann's children; presumably George Perkey was another.
