I am trying to learn more about Alvin Fiscus and Alta Indua Hilton. Alvin in believed to have been born in Iowa; Alta Indua was born in Nebraska (either Lincoln or Juniata) about 1872. Alta Indua was the sister of my great-grandmother, Laura Ann Hilton Chamberlain. Alvin and Alta Indua had one son that I know of. He was Albert Leroy Fiscus (called Bert), born 1888 in either Dawson County, Nebraska or Iowa. Albert Leroy married Edna Blanche Clymo in 1928 in the Denver, Colorado area and lived there for at least several years. Albert and Edna died in California. Other than word of mouth information from my grandmother, who knew her aunt Alta Indua (called Aunt Dude by the family) I have been unable to find out anything more about either of them. I would welcome any information and would be happy to share any Hilton information.
