I am trying to locate any information on Cephas (Could be Josephus) Fisher who was born in 1824 in either Onslow County or Pender County North Carolina. I cannot find any credible information such as parents, siblings, etc. He married Polly Batchelor born 1830. He was my great, great grandfather. I have heard his family may have migrated into NC from Ohio and beyond that, possibly from Ireland. But I have no proof of that, only hearsay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
