Looking for info. on Thomas Fitzgerald of Castlewood area, parish of Durrow, Co. Laois, Ireland. Not yet sure when he was born. Between 1815-1825. Only info. I have is that he was in the 1856 Toronto city directory with his brother Peter (b. 1822), they were both stone masons. Haven't tackled the 1861 Canadian census since it is not indexed. Peter moved to Oswego, New York around 1864. There may have been a wife/sister Bridget as a Bridget Fitzgerald was listed as the godparent to Peter's child. Also had a sister Ellen b. 1817 who married Joseph Bergin and lived in Lisbigney, Co. Laois. Their parents were Thomas Fitzgerald and Sarah Morrisey of Castlewood.
