I too am looking for my Flach/Flack ancestors. My great-grandmother was Louise Flack who married Conrad Gehringer and they settled in Ashland, KY. Louise had a brother William August who was born in Germany in 1851. He married Catherine "Kune" Crede in Kanawha Co, WV in 1871. They had four children, as far as I know all born in Kanawha Co. Emma born abt 1873, Sophia abt 1876, Lizzie in 1884 and another girl who I think is Lena. She would have been born between June 1880 when the census was taken and Aug 1890 when her mother died. After Kune died William went to Lawrence Co, OH where he remarried in 1891. He died in 1895. I can find no trace of his children. I have pictures of them but no dates or locations on any of them, names only.
I would appreciate any help I can get on finding where the girls went and locating any descendants of theirs. Sophia is the only one I know for sure that married because I have a picture of them together but no name for him.
Thanks, Jean
