I apologise for missing your reply to my post on this thread back in 2010. Sorry, somehow this thread got dropped off my 'watch-list', and I lost track of it. I hope you are still active on this thread.

Regarding my gg/grandfather Jeremiah O'Connor's marriage to Margaret Flaherty in Castlegregory in 1838, I had thought that Roger Flaherty's information on his Margaret Flaherty's marriage in Castlegregory, might be a common link, but then when I re-examined their childrens' names, in the light of the Irish Naming system, which Jeremiah & Margaret appaear to have followed, I had doubts again. Their children were Ellen dob 1838, Michael dob 1840, Jeremiah dob 1844, Patrick dob 1849. There had also been 2 earlier Patricks who died in infancy. This indicates that Margaret Flaherty's parents would have been named Patrick and Ellen, so it probably rules out Morgan Flaherty and Margaret Wren, as being her parents.

Thanks for the info which you posted from Griffiths valuation, I have seen some of those records, but as I have no idea where they lived in Castlegregory, I can't say which one of them is my family.

Does any of this ring any bells with you ?
