I'm hoping that someone can point me to where in Ireland the following FLAHERTY branch originated:

Patrick J FLAHERTY, born Ireland abt 1845, son of Paul FLAHERTY & Catherine BOYSE FLAHERTY. Patrick emigrated to NYC at some point and in 1869 married Julia DURNEY,in NYC. Julia was born in Ireland abt 1846, daughter of Thomas DURNEY & Anastasia KENNEDY DURNEY. By 1880, Patrick & Julia have 4 children: Catharine, Thomas F, Paul & William J. I believe Patrick died in 1914; in the 1920 Census Julia is living with their son, Thomas, his wife Elizabeth HAGGERTY FLAHERTY & their 11 children.

Any information or leads on these families and/or their roots in Ireland will be greatly appreciated.
