Classification: Query
Surnames: FLANAGAN, KILROY, MCGEEHAN
This weekend, I was in the office at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia PA (Cheltenham Ave & Easton Rd).
Out of curiosity, I asked the person at the computer how many Flanagans (with that exact spelling: FLANAGAN ) were buried there. To my surprise, I was told about 240! I had no idea there were that many Flanagans buried there!
Buried at Holy Sepulchre from my ancestry were: my great grandfather Bernard James FLANAGAN, from Charlestown Mayo Ireland (b 1865, d 1953), and his parents James FLANAGAN (b 1845, d 1907) and Margaret Coleman FLANAGAN (b 1847, d 1847).
Also, Bridget Kilroy FLANAGAN, Bernie's wife from Kilmovee Mayo Ireland (b 1877, d 1959).
Also, my grandfather Thomas P FLANAGAN (b 1896, d 1938) and his wife Alice McGeehan FLANAGAN (b 1900, d 1988).
So who are the other 230+ Flanagans??
