Looking for info on my grandmother Marie M. Pflaum(I believe she was from the PA. area) D:1986, married David G. Butterfield in Baltimore MD, abt 1915. I am sure Marie had a sister who was quite active in the Red Cross organization in 1918, I have been looking for information on her for 3 yrs. with no luck. Thank you for anything you might have.

My maternal grandfather was Harry Flum. When my mother's older brother went to school the teacher added an 'a.' The name became Flaum. Grandfather Harry came from Gostynin, Poland. He was one of nine brothers and sisters.
His parents were Yehuda Laebe and Basha Sureh Flumenbaum. I found his entry from www.ellisislandrecords.org as Harry Flambaum. I am still looking for his social security application (freedom of information act) that would help to shed light on his actual birthdate,etc.
