If your grandfather's mother was Annie Salisbury then yes, you are related to my Flavelle's. I dont know why but Charles Bartlett Flavelle left his family soon after their son William was born. He moved out West. He was my mother's uncle and all she remembers is that he went out West to Oregon. Somehow he landed up in Los Angeles, CA because that is where he died on 29 Mar 1983 at age 83. Charles Bartlett Flavelle was born 01 Apr 1899 in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of William Alexander Flavelle and Jennie Bartlett. Charles mother died of Tuberculosis when he was only 10.
