Loretta B. (Bauer) Flavin, 85, of Westminster, Md., formerly of West View, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in Maryland. Born May 30, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was daughter of the late John and Minnie (Zippler) Bauer. Beloved wife of the late Edward Flavin; mother of Edward (Annette) and John (Darlene) Flavin; sister of the late Marie Halligan; proud grandmother of Theresa, Christina, Jessica and Kimberly Flavin; dear great-grandmother of Matthew and Maxwell Hamrick. The family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME INC., 388 Center Ave., West View. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Athanasius Church.
