Re: Ellen (Nellie) Flavin
Hi there
i read you are trying to trace Flavins from Waterford .I am decended from those Flavins .My Grand father was from Kilkenny .His family originally from Waterford .He lived in Tipperery aand worked as a black smith until six years ago when he passed away , I believe he had a grand mother called Ellen .He was James Flavin and he had a sister Peg and a brother Thomas , I am still working on the early part actually i have just started .James married Mary breen also from Kilkenny and they had seven children one who died at the age of two .Both my grand parents are buried in Fenor grave yard in County Waterford with the baby and my grand fathers grand mother Annie (not sure which side )If i find any more info i will let you know .In the mean time if any one else can help i would love to find out how many of you are my relations.
