Flaxman history

I am trying to trace back from my Father who was Frederick John Lionel Flaxman.All I really know about his past was that he was born in Bristol England in 1919 and came to Australia at the age of about six months.He and my Mum are now deceased. Her name was Elisabeth Dulcie Flaxman (Nee Lynn).
