I am looking for any information on my line of Fleckensteins. It starts with Hartmann Fleckenstein and Magdelena Staab, both born around 1790 in Germany. One of their sons, Franziskus born on March 4, 1823 in Jacobsthal, Bavaria, Germany married Appolonia nee Wenzel who was born Dec. 22, 1830 in Heinrichsthal, Bavaria, Germany. They ended up in Newtown, Long Island, New York and had 4 children,Philip, John, Joseph and Mary. Philip born in 1861 was my g-g-g-grandfather. He married Marie Adile Lea Laurencelle and they had 2 children, Mary born in 1890 and Edmund born and died in 1893. Mary Fleckenstein married John Morris Odell.
