Surnames: Fleming~Nix~Moultrie~Alford
I understand that my name (Martha) was from Martha Fleming who married a Moultrie. She had a brother William David (my grandfather) and another brother Dan Fleming who moved to Ferriday(sp may be Feriday), La. and was married to a lady named Pearl. His son, still living is Dan, Jr. W D was originally from near Obion, TN. He moved to Rockport, MS after he married my grandmother Georgia LaNora Nix. Her siters were Pearl and Ollie and her brother was Julius "June" was his nickname. Pearl Nix married Dr. Julius Alford. I understand that Walter, Frank, Lowey and India were other Nix brothers and siters. Byrle Fleming was my great grandfather. I was told that the C in W C is "Clinton".
